What You Need to Know ⚠️

Most insurance plans do not cover 100% of chiropractic services.

Important insurance limitations:

Insurance typically covers treatment for ONE primary issue (“chief complaint”) per visit.

Preventative care, maintenance care, full-body treatment, and performance-based care are not covered.

Services are billed using specific procedure codes, each with associated fees.

After your insurance processes the claim, you may be responsible for a remaining balance (copay, deductible, or coinsurance).

Patient Responsibility

While benefit verification may be performed as a courtesy, it is the patient’s responsibility to understand their insurance plan, including:

Coverage limitations

Deductible status

Coinsurance and patient responsibility

Upfront Collection for Deductibles

If your plan includes a deductible, payment may be collected at the time of service until the deductible is met.

This helps reduce delayed billing and unexpected charges later.

What We Bill For

Insurance billing may include:

Chiropractic adjustment to the area of complaint

Soft tissue therapy when clinically appropriate

Therapeutic exercises reviewed or prescribed during the visit

Any care outside the primary complaint will be self-pay.

Billing Process

We work with a third-party billing company.

Insurance claim processing timelines vary and may be delayed.

Final patient responsibility is determined after insurance processing.
